Egyptian actress, translator, critic, and anthropologist born in 1948. She earned her medical degree from Ain Shams University in 1972 and received a master's degree in Anthropology from AUC in 1998. She has also received several postgraduate diplomas in translation and art criticism. She appeared in Asham (2012) and Winter of Discontent.
