An Indian costume designer, who grew up in Calcutta, India. She is one of the most famous costume designers in India. She is known for Parineeta (2005), Gunday (2014), and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015). In 2006, she won the Award for Technical Excellence for Best Costume Designer for Parineeta (2005) at the Awards of the International Indian Film Academy.
