Irish editor, born on March 12, 1948, in Belfast, Ireland, United Kingdom. He began his career as an assistant producer and editor in the movie Cindy and Donna (1970). He is known for Gallipoli (1981), The Truman Show (1998), and Dead Poets Society (1989). In 1990, he was nominated for BAFTA Film Award for Best Editing for Dead Poets Society (1989).
