American actress, born on December 13, 1950 in Buffalo, New York. She started her life as a model. Her father was Egyptian, and moved to the United States to get married and build a life. She started working as an actress in 1982 and started her career in television comedies. Among her most prominent works are: Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (2009), The Owl House (2020), and The American President (1995).
