An Italian actress, she was born in Campania, Italy, and then her parents immigrated to the United States. She studied English literature at Cornell University in the United States before moving to Moscow, where she obtained a degree in performing arts. She is known for Mad About You (1992) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2005-2014).
