A Turkish actress who was born in the German city of Hamm on November 1, 1978 to a Turkish father who worked as a doctor and a German mother who worked as a nurse. Her family belong to the dynasty of Mahmud II, Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. She won the Best Model Award in Turkey. She debuted her career in a number of video clips. She studied medicine in Germany before heading to Turkey to enter the world of drama and fashion shows. In 1997, she starred in the series Böyle mi olacakti. She received the Sixteenth Sedry Alishik Award for Best Actress for her role in The Voice (2010). She obtained the Ifran University Award for Best Young Actress for her role in the series The Magnificent Century. She is known for Sis ve Gece.
