Her role in the film captured the hearts of American viewers and went on to present more feature films such as Rage in Heaven, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in 1941, but the wonderful movie Casablanca remains the most important movie in her career and the reason why she is one of the most prominent romantic stars in the world. The following year, Bergman was nominated for an Academy Award for the first time in the movie For Whom the Bell Tolls. These nominations reached 7 nominations, and she won 3 awards in each of Gaslight the following year and Anastasia in 1956, both for Best Actress in a Leading Role and finally Murder on the Orient Express in 1974 for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Bergman's last movie was Autumn Sonata in 1978, in which she was also nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role, and the interesting thing is that on her 29th birthday, instead of celebrating it, Bergman died on the same day in 1982.
