Nick Carter is an American singer and actor. He was born as Nicholas Jane Carter on January 28, 1980 in New York. As a child, Nick appeared in a number of television commercials. In 1989, he joined the cast of the TV series The All New Mickey Mouse Club. Nick took an interest in music and his mother encouraged him to take singing lessons. His music career began in 1992 when he became a member of the band Backstreet Boys. Aside from singing, Nick founded "Nick Carter Racing", with whom they won in Florida. He released his first solo album Now or Never in March 2002.
