Professor of Arabic Literature and writer, born in 1934. He received his initial education in the schools of his town until he completed his secondary studies, then he traveled to Cairo and joined the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts at Cairo...Read more University. His choice of the Arabic language was not strange to him, as his father and brother, chose it before him, and they specialized in the Faculty of Arabic Language in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. Ahmed preferred to join Cairo University, studying under the supervision of Taha Hussein, Suhair Al-Qalamawi, and Abdel-Hamid Younis. In 1965, he obtained a master's degree in theater criticism in Egypt, then a doctorate in 1973 for his thesis on myth in contemporary Egyptian theater. He also decided to go around the world to prepare himself for the job he chose for himself to become a distinguished university professor, to be educated in languages, sciences, Western knowledge and modern curricula, and to prepare himself to become a writer armed with the experience and knowledge.
