An Iraqi writer, born in 1961 in Baghdad. After his emigration from Iraq, he acquired Dutch citizenship in addition to his original Iraqi citizenship. In...Read more 1979, he entered the Institute of Fine Arts / Baghdad Department of Dramatic Arts Directing Branch. He entered the Hilversum Academy (Media academy / Hilversum) and obtained a diploma in the field of presenting television programs (Bureauredactie Televisie) and a diploma in the field of preparing and directing TV programs (Bureauredactie Televisie). He completed the special course in how to write a script in radaracademie. In 1995, he was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his participation in the first university theater festival held at the College of Fine Arts, and a certificate of appreciation for his participation in the eleventh theater forum festival as a critic of many theatrical works. In 1996, he was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his participation in the third Iraqi theater festival with many critical articles. He also received various other reputable awards. Among his most notable works are: Barbaric Rituals (2011), Citizen (2016), and Just Garbage (2015). He died on Friday 7 September, 2012.
