American actress, born May 2, 1952 in Buffalo, New York. She began her career in the theater in 1980. Among her most prominent works are: Mamma Mia! (2008), Chicago (2002), Into the Woods (2014), and Cybill (1995-1998), for which she won an Emmy Award.
