Her most...Read more notable film appearances were in “Cape Fear” (1962), “At War with the Army”, “That's My Boy”, “A Guide for the Married Mad” and “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”. In television she appeared in “The Winds of War”, “The Sopranos” and “Desperate Housewives”, among many others. She hosted her own variety show for one season (The Polly Bergen Show). For her stage work she was nominated for the Tony Award for best Featured Actress in a Musical. As an author, Bergen wrote three books on beauty, fashion and charm.
