American actor, writer, director, and screenwriter born on November 4, 1891 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He started working for Mack Sennett's Keystone Studios in 1914 and supported Charlie Chaplin in some of the shorts he made at the studio. He participated in several works, including One Week (1920), The Haunted House (1921), and The Scarecrow (1920). He died on May 22, 1961, in Hollywood, California, USA.
