An Egyptian writer, born on the first of October, 1937. He studied at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, until he obtained a doctorate in 1971. In addition to his work in Saudi Arabia, he was a member in the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Writers Union. He won a number of awards, including the Cairo University Prize for Scientific Research in the field of social studies, in 1989. Among his works is the book "Poetry and Unknown Poets" and the series "Sailor of Alienation" in 1997. He died on 1/4/2008.
