An American actress, born in Barstow, California, on May 25, 1925. Jane practiced acting in high school and then joined the University of California to study drama. At the age of 18 she signed a contract with Fox, and her first role was in the movie The Gang's All Here (1943). Among her most important works: A Letter to Three Wives (1949), and Pinky (1949).
