A Turkish actress, born on March 1, 1976 in the Turkish city of Izmir. She began studying ballet at the age of seven, and she graduated from the Ballet Institute and obtained a degree from the Conservatoire of September 9 State University in Izmir. She danced as a model in songs directed by her older sister director, Deniz Akil. However, due to some problems that faced her life during that period, she was forced to leave ballet. In 1993, she appeared for the first time as an actress in the Turkish series The Last Word for Love. In 1997, she presented the program, Car's Life. She presented the fashion and beauty program Magic Mirror. In 1997, she played an important role in the successful Turkish series Kara Melek, after which she participated in Don't Cry for Me, and Traces on the Beach. In 2005, she signed an agreement with L'Oreal International for cosmetic products to appear as an advertising representative for its products in Turkey, and she was the first Turkish model for L'Oreal International. She appeared in many TV series, such as Krem (2012).
