He is a Canadian director and producer, born on April 27, 1958, in Malta. His son is Alexis Cassar. He is known for The Orville (2018-2022), Forsaken (2015), and When the Bough Breaks (2016). Among his many awards and nominations, he shared a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series for 24 (2002-2009).
