An American director and screenwriter, who began his artistic career in 1948. He participated in the movie Leather Gloves and was known for the series Bewitched, in which his wife at the time, Elizabeth Montgomery starred. Asher also participated in editing and directing more than a hundred episodes of the series I Love Lucy. He was nominated for four Emmy Awards for comedy directing and won one in 1966.
