French actress, born in Paris, on February 22, 1950. She worked as a young strawberry seller, and actor and director Romain Bouteille invited her to work at a Parisian theatre called Café de la Gare. She made her film debut in La vie sentimentale de Georges le tueur (1971). At that time she was in a relationship with actor Patrick Dewaere and they had a daughter. She received the César Award in 1980 and the Lumiere Award in 1998. Her credits include Germinal (1993), The Eighth Day (1996), and The Science of Sleep (2006).
