Mary Kristen was born on November 5, 1955, in San Diego, California. She is the daughter of Mary Jo Shannon and engineer Robert Hutton, and has French, German, Dutch, English and Scottish ancestry. Jenner entered high school and worked as a flight attendant for a year in 1976. Today, Jenner runs her own production company in Los Angeles, as well as managing her daughters' businesses, and has released a book about her life called Kris Jenner... and All Things Kardashian.
