An American director, producer, and screenwriter, born in 1980 in Taipei, Taiwan. She later moved to Los Angeles with her family and spent five years in Hong Kong during her twenties. After graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, she worked for several years for the documentary distribution company Docurama in New York, then founded her own film company, Unbound Feet Productions. She participated as a director, producer, and actress in the movie Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong (2015). She is also known for Go Back to China (2019) and Tall Girl 2 (2022).
