He dropped out of college due to his strong interest in American football. Joe also loved the New York nightlife and was nicknamed "Broadway Joe", which attracted him to cinema and theater, then he also appeared in TV ads. At a later age, he continued his education, graduating from the University of Alabama in 2007.
