An American actress, who was born in New York City, on October 22, 1904. She received a star on the Walk of Fame in 1960. She died on July 24, 1965 in Fort Fox, New Jersey, due to a brain hemorrhage. At her beginnings, she appeared in silent films produced in New York until she had the opportunity to go to Hollywood, and she continued working in talking cinema, achieving stardom in many films, especially comedies. In the forties, her cinematic works decreased, so she turned to work in radio and theater. Constance sang with her voice in some films and in the theatre. She is famous for acting in Topper (1937), Madame X (1966), and As Young as You Feel (1951).
