Also, he became governor of New South Wales, in Australia, and three years later, he was deposed, but he was returned to his position thanks to some official employees who were sent from England. In 1814, he was promoted to Vice-admiral of the Blue. He is known for the TV series Biography (1996). He died in London, on December 7, 1817.
