American novelist born as Robert Lawrence Stine in Ohio on 8 October 1943. He is known for writing young adult thriller and horror novels. He has written over 300 books and has sold over 400 million copies. He earned a degree in English literature from Ohio State University in 1965. Several of his works have been adapted into film such as the Goosebumps film series as well as the Fear Street Trilogy, and television series such as Eye Candy.
