He is a Danish editor, director, and writer. He was born on January 7, 1971, in Fredericia, Denmark. His notable works include A Funny Man (2011), Teddy Bear (2012), and Applause (2009). He wrote and directed Land of Mine (2015), which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards.
