A Dutch actor, born on April 7, 1974, in Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Netherlands. Tygo was awarded the Golden Calf for Best Actor in 2003 for Van God los (2003) and in 2005 for Best Supporting Actor for Het schnitzelparadijs (2005). He was head of the jury at the ShortCutz Amsterdam Film Festival in 2014 and 2018. His works include Fort Alpha (1996), De garage (2000), and Van Speijk (2006).
