A British film production designer, born in Berlin on February 5, 1921, as Klaus Hugo Adam. He is known for his set designs for the James Bond film franchise. His notable work includes the...Read more films Dr. No (1962), Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964), Barry Lyndon (1975), and The Madness of King George (1994), winning an Oscar for the latter two. He returned to Berlin in 2000 for the filming of the movie Taking Sides by Hungarian director István Szabó, about the famous German conductor Wilhelm Furtwängler. He died at the age of 95 at his home in London on March 10, 2016.
