Irish writer and poet born on 2 February 1882 in Rathgar, Ireland. He graduated from University College in Dublin in 1902. He briefly studied medicine in Paris but his father's death of cancer brought him back to Dublin. His adapted works include Festival, The Dead, La femme à abattre, and Land of Winter. He died on 13 January 1941 in Zurich, Switzerland.
