A Lebanese producer, writer and director, born in Arjun in 1966. She studied philosophy in Beirut, then went to the Belgian capital Brussels in 1984 to study cinema at INSAS and obtained a diploma in editing. She worked as an assistant director and editor between Brussels and...Read more Paris. She directed and co-produced her debut film Between Us Two... Beirut (1993). Between 1996 and 1997, she also resided in Sri Lanka, where she produced a number of documentaries and worked as a broadcaster for the Arab region through Worldwide Global Television, after which she returned to Beirut, where she took part in organizing three film festivals, including the Beirut Film Festival in 1999.
