Ansara participated in television productions in the early fifties, such as the 1956 series Broken Arrow, in addition to his cinematic and theatrical work, as well as working as a voice actor in animated series. Michael Ansara was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. His most notable work includes I Dream of Jeannie (1966-1970), Guns of the Magnificent Seven (1969), The Message (1976), and The Manitou (1978). He died in Calabasas, California, USA on July 31, 2013 from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
