An Egyptian screenwriter from the city of Mansoura. His writing credits include the two seasons of the series The Godfather (2017-2018), and Wrestling Pinfall (2019).

Born in Mansoura in Egypt, Hani Sarhan is a talented screenwriter who was able to breakthrough in the Egyptian and Arab drama market with two seasons of his TV series El Ab El Rohi. Although the TV drama was not aired in Ramadan season, it achieved a huge success, as it featured a new form of drama and action that was unusual in Egyptian TV series. In 2019, Hani joined the Ramadan race for the first time with the TV series Lams Aktaf, starring star Yasser Galal, which topped the watch lists for weeks. For the second year in a row, Hani collaborated with star Yasser Galal in the TV series Al-Fetewa in Ramadan 2020, which takes place in the middle of the nineteenth century in the old Cairo neighborhoods.
