Swiss director and writer, born on June 23, 1957. He studied in New York from 1980 at the School of Visual Arts, from which he graduated in 1983 with a BA in Fine Arts. During this time he produced the experimental film Suburban Wildlife (1982). He continued his education at the...Read more Pratt Graphics Center (Department of Printing) (1983-1984) and at New York University (Department of Film and Video) (1984-1985). His second film, Ein Zwischenfall (1983) was shown at the Solothurn Film Festival. In 1988, he returned to Switzerland. In 2006, his film Terra Incognita won the Swiss Film Award for Best Short Film. His short films have been screened and awarded at many international film festivals.
