Biography

A Jordanian actor and poet, born in 1957 in the village of Beita, Palestine. He joined the University of Jordan and graduated from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature in 1980. He then obtained a master’s degree in 1986, then a doctorate in 1992 from the same...Read more university. He worked as a teacher in Yemen in 1981, then worked in private intermediate colleges in Jordan from 1982 to 1989, then in government university colleges in Jordan from 1989-1993. He traveled to Libya and taught at Omar Al-Mukhtar University in 1994, then returned to Jordan, where he worked in private colleges and at Jerash Private University, then as a lecturer at the University of Jordan. He was fond of acting and was a member of the Jordanian Artists Syndicates. He died in a car accident in 2000 in Amman. He is known for the series Humor in the Arab Heritage (1987) and Tarafa ibn al-Abd (1982).
