An American actress, born on August 30, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. He was born to a Chinese mother and African-American father. She studied music and dance at an early age. Having graduated from Los Angeles High School for the Arts in 1999, she relocated to New York City, where she joined Juilliard School. She participated in many various films and series, including the drama series Queen Sugar (2016), and the movies Art School Confidential (2006), and The Dunning Man Other (2017).
