A British writer and actor, who grew up on the estate of Parkhurst on the Isle of Wight. He took his one-man show, Bane, to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where it won several awards. The show earned him numerous nominations for acting and writing. He wrote three more shows in the series Bane, which was published in Portugal. He took a short hiatus from acting to focus on his writing. In 2017, he co-wrote the film Keepers and then co-wrote his second novel, The Corrupt. He appeared in Six Minutes to Midnight, Endeavor, and The Alienist. Joe is also the author of The Vanishing.
