An Egyptian actress and architect, born in 1974 in Cairo. She studied architecture at Cairo University and graduated in 1997, she received a master's degree from Cairo University in 2004 and a doctorate from the University of Missouri in the United States in 2007. Besides engineering, Shahira studied acting and directing for two years. She made her acting debut in the film Claire's Camera (2017) with Korean director Sang-soo Hong and French star Isabelle Huppert, after which she appeared in other works such as the films Sheikh Jackson, Yomeddine, the series Farthest Neighbor and The Flood.
