An American actor, born on December 6, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He later moved with his mother, author Eleanor Blake, and his younger sister to Evanston, Illinois. His family relocated to Chicago, then to New York City, and finally back to Detroit, where Wally Cox graduated from Denby High School. He also studied at the City College of New York during WWII. Cox then served four months in the United States Army before enrolling at New York University after his discharge. He is best known for his roles in Mister Peepers (1952-1955), Underdog (1964-1967), Something's Got to Give (1962), and State Fair (1962). He died on February 15, 1973, in Los Angeles, California, USA, of a heart attack.
