An American actress, born on August 7, 1914, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She received her BA from the University of Chicago and moved to Los Angeles, where she studied drama at the University of California, Los Angeles. She began her film career in 1935 and is known for Earthworm Tractors (1936), Circus Girl (1937), The Case of the Black Cat (1936), and Ceiling Zero (1936). She died on April 14, 2008, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
