A Pakistani actress and filmmaker, born on August 9, 1945, in Lahore, Pakistan. After graduating in the field of Commerce, she chose to pursue acting. After many successful years acting in TV dramas and minor roles in TV commercials, she started in 1976 with Nazdikiyan, which she followed with multiple starring roles in both film and television. She began directing television productions for Pakistani Television and made her debut with the 1999 film Inteha.
