An Algerian director, actor, and screenwriter, born in Algiers to an Algerian father and a French mother. He received his education in France, where he studied modern literature at the Sorbonne University, then graduated from the Chaillot National Theatre, then entered the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique. He starred in and directed the film Mascarades, which won Best Film - Feature at the Dubai International Film Festival. Some of his credits include Jean Farès, Cousins, and The Man from Oran.
