An American actor who was born on February 14, 1916, on Staten Island in the United States. He spent part of his childhood in Kentucky and in New York where he attended Northwood School, a private school in Lake Placid. He attended Princeton University, but dropped out after his freshman year. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He debuted in 1955 with the movie Rebel Without Cause. He died on March 19, 1974, in Santa Monica, in the United States due to a heart attack.
