A British writer, born in 1967, in Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom. She studied drama at Royal Holloway, University of London, and traveled to Japan for a few years to work in the fields of teaching and script editing. Her first novel was The Earthquake Bird, which was later transformed into a movie titled Earthquake Bird (2019).
