An American actor, who was born on March 17, 1903, in New York. He began his acting career in the 1920s, with numerous appearances on Broadway. He made his film debut in The Backslapper (1925). He attended Cornell University and University of Buffalo. He began as a singer at the age of twelve. He is best known for acting in Platinum Blonde (1931), Pack Up Your Troubles (1932), and Frontier Pony Express (1939). He died on November 18, 1982 in West Lake, California.
