An American actor, who was born in Chicago, Illinois, on February 3, 1925, as Sheldon Leonard Berman, and died in Bell Canyon, California, on September 1, 2017, from symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. He was nominated for a 2008 Emmy Award and a 2006 Film Guild Award. He is famous for his roles in Meet the Fockers (2004), The Holiday (2006), and You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008), as well as the series Curb Your Enthusiasm (2002-2009).
