A director, writer, and producer, born on May 24, 1973 in Tel Aviv, Israel. He won an Academy Award in 2019 for his first short film Skin, among other awards. Before coming to the United States, his film, Strangers, competed at the Sundance Film Festival. His most notable films are Skin (2018), Strangers (2007), and The Flood (2010).
