American screenwriter and novelist, born on July 28, 1969, in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, she spent several years working in service jobs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which gave her experience for her first book, The Official Slacker Handbook. Shortly after, she moved to Los Angeles, California, where she wrote for TV series. She is known for American Housewife (2016-2021), and Veronica's Closet (1997-1998).
