American actress and producer, born on June 13, 1965, in New York City. Her parents moved from Puerto Rico and settled in Manhattan, New York. She graduated from New York's High School of Performing Arts in 1980. She has been married to Jay Cohen since 1990, and they have three children. She is known for Star Trek (2009), Being Mary Jane (2013), and Mighty Aphrodite (1995).
