An American actress, who was born in San Francisco, California, on August 5, 1930. She learned to be a singer at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, then attended the University of California, Berkeley, and took up operatic singing at the San Francisco Opera Company. Her movie debut was The System (1953). She is best known for her roles in Them! (1954), Deep in My Heart (1954), The Command (1954), and Gunsight Ridge (1957).
