An American actor, who was born on December 11, 1923 near Richmond, Virginia. He moved with his family to California during World War II, and joined the United States Marine Corps. He began his acting career in 1944, and is best known for the movies A Walk in the Sun (1945),Fear in the Night (1947), Them! (1954), Sheena, Queen of the Jungle (1955), as well as the series The Falcon in Hollywood (1944). He died on July 9, 2006 in Williamsburg, Virginia.
